Importing image into excel

I am trying to import an image with text information into excel. I can easily get this in form of image however I would like to import it in digital format where I can edit text on the image and make other changes.

I tried using the One note but the process failed.

Please help.

You'll likely need OCR software to do this.  You can try a free site like http://www.onlineocr.net/ to convert it to text, though you'll generally want to proof it afterwards.

An image does not have text what you perceive as text is simply a collection of pixels. another collection of pixels you will interpret as a cloud. To do what you want you need a clean image without the text and a graphics editor that allows layers i.e. photoshop.. you then add a  layer that contains your text. The viewer must also support layers .. in most cases you will then have to flatten the layers and save the file.  This can be done using vba programming and a suitable editor but is in reality too much work for little gain. and it will not be an automated process

you need two following softwares to acheive what you need to get done.

A) if you have a pdf printer, meaning printing the image to pdf . if you do not have, pdf24 is a freeware software you can install and print the image using pdf24

B) you need a software called Able2Extract Professional  you can download trial version for free. this software can converted imaged/scanned documents photos in pdf format back to Excel or word or powerpoint.
