Can't add event on iPhone to subscribed Calendar published from Exchange 2010

Able to add subscribed Calendar from Exchange 2010 mailbox/user OK to current OS iPhone

Able to see events on the subscribed Calendar from the iphone

When Calendar invite was published from Users mailbox, all rights were granted.

User tries to add an event to the subscribed Calendar (from the iphone) but that subscribed Calendar does not show as an available calendar to add to !  The original iCloud and Exchange ActiveSync  accounts do, just not the 3rd subscribed calendar.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

what permissions were assigned to the iPhone user on the subscribed calendar?

it should be linked to their main Exchange/AD profile, so the device would see it as part of the original account, just an extra calendar to add as usual.  if the phone doesn't see the calendar to add to, it might not be linked to the account properly (also watch if they have other email accounts, you need to choose what the default calendar/contacts folder should be).  also some changes to permissions in Exchange may take overnight to propagate as the Info Store service will only process once per day depending on several domain and exchange parameters (mine happens @ 5am every day).

Only way to do this permission changes immediately, is to stop and start Info Store service, and you don't want to do that during the day as everyone will get kicked out of Outlook.
