JQuery Function on page load

I have a jQuery function that happens on a select change, or form submit.  The function goes through a few variables and creates a price.  However, I would like the function to run when a person navigates to the page.  In addition to onChange.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

To launch as part of your page add a <script> tag with:

jQuery(window).load(function(e){
   //your function here
});

Open in new window

Or simply call your function in the onload event when you create the body:

<body onload="yourfunction()" ... >

This is pretty standard for launching code on page load.

<script type="text/javascript">
$(function() {
   // put all code you want to run on page load here
});
</script>

Open in new window
