Best way to migrate 2003 file server data to new 2012 file server retaining permissions

Hello EE,

I have an old 2003 server with about 300gb of user data.  I need to get this off and migrated to my new 2012 file server, while retaining permissions.  Can somebody share any tools they've used and recommend that work best?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
