How can I streamline this stylesheet?

I've got a stylesheet for my mobile device users which looks like this:

@media screen and (max-width: 1136px) {

/*1136 stuff */

}

@media screen and (max-width: 1080px) {

/*1080 stuff */

}

...so on and so forth.

Thing is, I've got several settings that are common to every screen resolution. In the interest of not having to repeat those for every screen size. where would I put those settings?

Say for example, this cell:

td.qr_code {
font-family: Helvetica, Microsoft Sans Serif;
font-size: 10px;
color: #000000;
text-align:left;
}

The "qr_code" sell doesn't change, regardless of the screen size. Where would I put that on my stylesheet so it's read and processed regardless of the user's screen size?

move that code out of the media queries. that's all. put it above the media queries in the file. it will then be applied across the board

I kind of figured, but I was hesitant as far as where to put it - either above or below. Thanks!

np. media queries always go last.

Also, the order of the media queries is also important, but that can be a discussion for another time.

cheers.
