"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can copy the PST file (or files) from one computer to another. Outlook needs to be closed for this.

You can copy the NK2 file from one computer to the other using Outlook 2007. Outlook 2010 and beyond does not use NK2 files.

Accounts are in the Outlook profile and not readily transferrable. I make new accounts with a new profile and it does not take long.

Make the new profile first, and this makes a small PST file. Do NOT do a send/receive. Now copy the old PST files into this location. When you open Outlook, all your mail, calendar and contacts will be there.
