"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Can you install the latest Driver and check if it will still crash?

look also in event viewer fo errors; they may show you what's wrong

Make sure all your Windows updates are done as well as video driver. Update BIOS and Chipset as well.

Is the machine restarting? or is the screen going black and coming back?  I had the latter issue several months back. The error was infrequent (every other month) and has gone away as updates have been done. The machine never crashed and I never lost anything.

We’d all like to think our company’s data is well protected, but when you ask IT professionals they admit the data probably is not as safe as it could be.

Yes I have seen that. How often does this happen?

For me it was infrequent and has gone away with updates.

Try reinstalling or repairing the Video driver (as suggested above) but be sure to get BIOS and Chipset updates first.

Is there a way to do NVidia software/driver removal (clean up tool from NVidia )??
Thanks,,

How frequently do you get this error?
mvalencia2003Author Commented:
Maybe once a day .. when I open Outlook...

nobusCommented:
normally you uninstall the NVIDIA software + driver from control Panel> programs and Features
JohnBusiness Consultant (Owner)Commented:
That much more frequent than my error (4 times in the last 12 months and gone now). I think the most recent Lenovo BIOS update probably fixed the issue.

Did you try BIOS AND Chipset?
