You need to do the following...
- Open GPMC.msc
- Edit your GPO
- Expand User Configuration, Preferences
- Expand Control Panel Settings
- Click on Internet Settings
- Right click in the right hand pane, select New select the version of IE
- Click the security Tab, click Local Intranet
- Click Custom Level
- Select The setting you have specified in your screenshot
- Apply the GPO to the users that you want this enabled for.

Also make sure that you configure your Security Filtering as well.

Thats it.

Im using IE 11 on my client PC but I only have IE 8 on my server. I cant upgrade my server yet. What would I need to do to manage the IE11. Install the correct RSAT?
Yeah you would just need to install RAST on a server or workstation that has IE11 installed and then it will work.

Will.
hmm. I installed RSAT on a Win 7 machine with IE 11 but I still only have the option to edit IE 5-8? Any idea why?

In order for this to work you need to install this on a Windows 8.1 machine using RSAT or a 2012DC. You would then select IE10 which would then apply to IE11. See the below link for your reference.

Sorry i did this in my lab but it was on a 2012DC.

Will.
So I went to Windows 8 machine and added the IE10 settings above. I get the error attached about IE10 being invalid when I login to my 2008 server to look at the settings. I assume this is normal?

Is this an 8.1 machine? The link specifically states 8.1 or 2012R2.

WIll.
Let me check
Actually its Win 8 Pro. So if I dont have either OS's from above its not possible?
