HTML / CSS - Aligning Hyperlink to the bottom of a table cell

I have a table in a web page that is being populated from the results of a SQL query. Each row has a hyperlink in the right most cell, and despite all efforts that I have made so far, the hyperlink always appears at the top of the cell, whereas all text in the other cells is vertically centred.

I have tried the valign function of the TD, and I have also tried using the CSS text-align property, but for the life of me I cannot get this hyperlink to move.

What I want is for the text in each cell AND the hyperlink to be vertically aligned to the bottom of the cell.

Hmm, I am wondering if my problem stems from having a form as well within the same cell:-

It's as though the form (although displaying nothing) is taking up a line too.
OK - found my problem. Added style="display: inline" to my form.
Solution was correct based on my original question.
