Citrix Status Bar running in background
Hi,
Whenever I launch any application through web interface I cannot see citrix receiver status bar running on foreground. It always run on background (usually behind IE page) and thus the user does not find out if the application is launching or not. I am using 3.4 cumulative release with WI 5.4.
Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Same issue after uninstalling old receiver and installing new one.
Receiver 3.4 uninstall and even the cleanup tool don't work all that well. That version was a bear to uninstall, and it wasn't all that uncommon to need to uninstall manually via Regedit. Painful, yes, but sometimes necessary because v3.4 left a lot of garbage in the registry.
If you have a new machine that you can try with a newer Citrix Receiver, that would be a better test.

I cannot go with the latest version of receiver reason being I have a http site and 4.1 and 4.2 does not go with a http site. Whatever registry entry Citrix suggest to make a http site work with 4.2 does not work at all. I did it in the past for one of my other client.

Thanks for sharing the links Joharder. Unfortunately none of the link helped me. I am still with the same problem.
This is still a current issue.. up to and including Receiver 4.2.. (not sure about 4.2.100, but I wouldn't be surprised.
However.. you could create a script or service using something like Winbatch or AutoIT to watch for the status bar and then automatically bring it up to the front.

Hi Coralon, I am really not aware how it could be done with winbatch or autoit. Would appreciate if you can teach me a bit about it or if you have one handy with you.
