dont forget full migration from frs to dfr. &nbsp;It's a 4 command process that rebuilds sysvol.

Hi, We currently have a mix of 2003 and 2012 R2 domain controllers. I am looking to migrate the FSMO roles from our old 2003 server to the 2012 DC. Can I do this in one go or is there a few extra steps in between. The DF level is currently 2003. <br />

Windows Server 2012 is the server version of Windows 8 and the successor to Windows Server 2008 R2. Windows Server 2012 is the first version of Windows Server to have no support for Itanium-based computers since Windows NT 4.0.
