Installing new TTF font on Windows Server 2012 R2

Our application requires a barcode font M39.  We launched our application before realizing that this font was missing.  I have added the font, but am pretty sure I will need to reboot to register the font.

Is there a way to register the font without rebooting the server?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

How did you add it - that's pretty crucial.  Did you copy it to the folder by a copy command or script?  Then it's not registered.  (Reboots won't fix this).

If you drag and drop it to the Fonts folder that SHOULD register it appropriate.

Installing fonts does not require reboots.
