I'm presently installing a new system for a user (Lenovo Thinksation - Intel Xeon E5-1620 v3 3.5 GHz, 16 MB RAM)
This being a new machine I have ordered a Microsoft Office 2013
The user has suddenly announced that he wants to remain on Office 2010 because of the numerous Excel macros that he uses
He apparently believes that these won't function properly with the new version of Excel.
Is this true ? If so are there any tips to 'convert' these macros, or at least modify what needs to be modified for these to operate correctly under the new version of Excel ?
Incidentally, i nthe present circumstances, are we are allowed to install a previous version of Office ?
Any other considerations to take into account before I deliver this machine ?
