bindingsource.count

Hi,

I'm tring to refresh my bindingsource so that it refreshes the table with new data from access, no matter what I do the bindingsource.count always returns 1 after the refresh code below. The first msgBox returns 0 while the other one returns 1. there's nothing in the table so I don't understand why it's giving me a 1 count. It only happens after I try to refresh with the code below :

MsgBox(soumissionBindingSourcec.Count)

Me.Validate()
soumissionBindingSourcec.EndEdit()
soumissionDatasetc = soumissionDatac.getSoumissionC
soumissionBindingSourcec.DataSource = soumissionDatasetc
soumissionBindingSourcec.Filter = "soumissionNumber ='" & somNoSoum.Text & "'"

MsgBox(soumissionBindingSourcec.Count)

Open in new window

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Is soumissionBindingSourcec a subform object? If yes then you can try:

MsgBox(soumissionBindingSourcec.Form.RecordsetClone.RecordCount)

instead
