"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Are you talking DC replication? Or do you still have file servers using FRS?? There is really only one. Don't have any servers (so domain c, for example)) that require FRS. In other words, don't have any 2003 DCs.

The only prerequists that are required are the following...
- only 2008 and up DC in your environment
- Domain Functional Level needs to be at least 2008 for this to work

The best guide for this is below. This outlines all of the required steps and prerequists.
