how to search inside notepads (win7)
F3 only picks up text of file, but not content inside the file.. do we have to resort to 3rd party tools for this?

No. Also works in Home Premium (but I don't know about Starter).

thanks.. it worked now. appreciate that.
now how would search for a phrase in a notepad.. and c drive is big.. so i put the word, and it is spinning for a long time (on C: drive).. if I put the search in a small folder within C drive, it pulls it fast.)
in F3, can you tell it to search only text files but with a phrase word?
