Exchange 2013 Retention Policy

We upgraded our exchange to 2013 Enterprise CU8 and our retention policy stopped working.
Our retention policy was created in exchange 2007 using Manage Folder.  (MRM 1.0 I guess  ? )

We have to custom our policy because we want the policy to delete only 2 message class.  ( IPM.Note and IPM.Note.ExShortcut)

Can we still make it work with exchange 2013 CU8 ? If not, can we still custom it in exchange 2013 CU8 ?

thanks.

Thanks  Iciprianionut.
Yes, we move to retention policy in exchange 2013  and we  set different retention tags for  calendars, tasks, and Notes to never delete.
And now we run into problem with deleted items folders. None of email in this folder was deleted as set on the policy because the age is calculated based on the date policies applied not the date email was created. How can we fix this ?

thanks.

That is MS design. Age of message in deleted items folder is calculated from the day message is deleted.
