We are working for a customer who have a specific version of Chrome rolled out to all its users. Changing the Chrome version is not an option for them, since it is a long drawn process to get all the approvals.
We want to ensure that we develop and test the application in the same Chrome version so that there are no incompatibility issues when the application is deployed to customer environment.
The problem here is that as soon as an update is release, Chrome version automatically gets updated. We tried disabling the auto updates, however, it seems disabling an auto update is only valid for 77 hours, after which it gets enabled again.
Is there a way that we can disable the auto updates permanently?
