Outlook 2010 Calendar invite required attendee name in blue font and italics

When sending a calendar invite, the meeting attendee list all of the people show up in white, except one that is in a  blue and italics.  Does anyone know why this one is in the blue font and italics?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

After testing and testing I found the reason for this.  Below are the steps in which I was able to create an attendee in blue italics.

1.  Create a meeting and send
2.  Update the meeting comments without resending
3.  Add additonal attendees and only send to the new attendees
4.  If the new attendees are free and have not accepted the meeting request they will be listed in blue italics.
