I got the error message below from SSRS. But the dataset 'ArchiveCodesMTDPM'. can run successfully in sql. Why not in SSRS. Please help.

When you run directly in SSMS there's no timeout defined so the query can complete doesn't matter how much time it takes.
You can solve this issue by increasing the timeout value or tuning the query, that should be the best thing to do.
