I suggest you uninstall Office 2013 and also any remnants of Office 2010 so that all Office is uninstalled and gone.<br />

Now, restart and install Office 2013 fresh. It should work (I have it on Windows 8.1 and Windows 7).

Try to run the Outlook in safe mode using /safe command line switch:

. It if will work, then the problem may be with one of the add-ins installed. If so, try to disable them one by one to find the problem one.

I just upgraded from Office 2010 to Office 2013. Now when the user switches from Mail to Calendar it always gives a message Microsoft Outlook has stopped working. Please see screen shot attached. I tried to run a repair on Office 2013.<br />
