Recovering forwarded e-mails in exchange 2007

There was a forward that was set to forward e-mails without delivering to both recipients.  The forward was incorrectly entered so the messages never got to the correct place.  Is it possible to recover these e-mails and add them back to the mailbox?  They all show up in the message tracking.

If forwarding address was incorrect then it is impossible to recover that mail. We can't recover the mail which is never been written to Transaction logs or mailbox database. Restoring mails from Transaction logs and mailbox DB is also conditional.
