I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

It seems this is the same request here
http://www.experts-exchange.com/Security/Operating_Systems_Security/Q_27159144.html

here on EE is also something similar
http://www.experts-exchange.com/OS/Microsoft_Operating_Systems/Windows/Windows_Vista/Q_23558060.html

also you can try this
in Group Policy  "Computer Configuration | Administrative Templates | Network | Network Connections | Windows Firewall." Click the "Domain Profile" folder. The Windows Firewall Group Policy settings will appear in the middle pane
"Windows Firewall: Allow file and printer sharing exception," click the "Settings" tab and select "Enabled." Type a star (*) character in the "Allow unsolicited incoming messages" box to enable the setting for all computers or type in the IP addresses for the computers you want it to apply to.

You did not attached the picture...

There is something called reading pane which display a preview of the selected email.

This can be activated/deactivated from  view->reading pane -> Right/bottom/off
See Tip 2  here : http://www.techrepublic.com/article/use-these-five-tips-to-help-control-how-outlook-2003-displays-e-mail/

Otherwise, in view menu you can select how email are displayed
In view -> current view  you can define your own way to display email (choose column to display, ...)
