Second Mailbox in Outlook Password Prompt

I have second mailbox added in Outlook and when Outlook is opened "Windows Security" window comes up every time asking for password.  "Connecting to 'mailboxname@domain.***' " ... Even if I check the box Remember my credentials it still prompts me the next day or next time Outlook is closed/re-opened.

Can this be set so the password is remembered?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

How did you add the second mailbox?  I'm seeing this behavior if the second mailbox is added by adding a second account via mail setup.  If the second mailbox is added via Outlook (Primary mailbox --> Data File Properties --> Advanced button --> Advanced Tab --> Open These Additional Mailboxes) the users are not receiving the prompts login prompts.  Outlook 2010.

added via E-mail accounts , through Account Settings.  if added via : "Outlook (Primary mailbox --> Data File Properties --> Advanced button --> Advanced Tab --> Open These Additional Mailboxes)" , Mailbox will not open when clicking on arrow next to mailbox ...

Is this only way to not get prompted for the password every time???

As Murali has mentioned, the user trying to open the mailbox must have permissions granted to it. This can either be done by the owner, or through Exchange Management Console or Shell.

Yes, permissions must be granted for the mailbox and folders.  Still, I am seeing the described behavior for users that have appropriate permissions.  In both cases the user has access to the second mailbox; they are being prompted for credentials each time they restart Outlook when the second mailbox is added as described by the asker.
