I have accidentally purchased a chromebook How do i use it for office kind work like word and excel plus internet. Do documents produced with this kind of machines easily compatible with ms office applications.

can Google Drive for word processing and spreadsheets ( docs and sheets). be downloaded and installed parmanently on this computer, can i use them off line. Internet access here is a problem
