Access 2013 No program is registered to open this file

Just updated Office to 2013 on Windows 7. Now if I click a link within a form to open a pdf file I get the no program registered error. But from the desktop I can click a pdf shortcut and it will open Adobe Reader X. Any solutions?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Did you update Window as well?

Tell us more about this "Link"
Is it a field in the table?
A standalone hyperlink?
A button that opens a PDF?

FWIW, this works fine for me on a fully updated PC with Win 7 and off 2013.
Note that I am just using the Adobe reader though...
I get a security pop-up, ... but after that, the PDF opens fine
