I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You could try to Save discussion board as template (under list settings) with selecting "Include Content" checkbox. And after create a new list on community site using that template.
If it in the same site collection, the saved template will be visible automatically when you press add an app on other site.
If you community site is on different site collection, you need to copy that template from list templates gallery and paste it in list templates gallery on other site collection.

Hello and thank you .
Looks to be brilliant but it changes all the posts and replies with my name on it instead of the actual poster.
How to fix  please?

Thank you in advance.

Please help.
With the above solution , all users names are replaced with mine ( the administrator ).

Hello and thank you!!
How do you run the script?
Please forgive I am unfamiliar.

Thank you in advance.
martushaProduct managerCommented:
Copy script to notepad, change according your environment and save with .ps1 extention.
Go to sharepoint server, find SharePoint Management Shell and run it as administrator (very similar as cmd) and run your sccript:.
 . ‘LocalPath\ScriptName.PS1’
