outlook 365 sent excell items

Got a issue with an  local outlook 365. When the person sents a  excell attachement the recipient gets the file wright. But when the sender opens the attachement in sent items   it won't open as it seems to be damaged.
Did a  removal and reinstall of the office, made a new outlook profile  and deleted the local  cache ost file.
But the issue remains.
Any idea's

Did you try to send e-mail through OWA?

No, I haven't. Will give it a try and let you  know, but its the only user that has the problem.

OWA seems to work just fine

Think it's  fixed.
Had to change  protected view settings in Excell.
Would have checked it  earlier if the warning had been about security  and not  attachement is damaged.
