I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There is a period of caching and replication where the old password will continue to work. If you must have it stop, then you will need to run IISRESET on the server.

Depends on how long it has been since you changed the password.

This is most likely an issue with your AD Replication. I would start there. Use the below command to ensure that replicaiton is working properly...

Repadmin /replsum
Repadmin /showrepl
Repadmin /bridgeheads
DCDiag /v
