SAP BusinessObjects 4.1

What version of Crystal Reports works with SAP BusinessObjects 4.1?  Can reports created using Crystal Reports 2008 run in SAP BusinessObjects 4.1?

I get the following error when trying to run a report.

The viewer could not process an event. Error in File [Report Name]: Failed to load database information. [] ---- Error
code:0 [CRWEB00000119]

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

SAP BO 4.1 comes with Crystal Reports 2013 and Crystal Reports for Enterprise.

CR 2013 is the "stand-alone" version we are used to using.
CR for Enterprise is designed for use in the Enterprise.

I believe you can design reports in any version but they must be loaded to the enterprise through one of the versions that comes with BO 4.1

CR for Enterprise can only use Enterprise data sources like unx universes.  You can't connect to your Access db directly.

CR2013 cannot use Enterprise data sources except for unv universes.

Remember Crystal (even 2013) is still only a 32-bit application so it needs to use 32-bit database connections.
We generally build both the 32 and 64 bit connections and name them the same.  Crystal will choose the right one.

This looks like a connection issue , no reporting issue. You can use CMS to add a report and edit / design it with any version of Crystal. I had to make changes with Crystal XI and it worked just fine. Check if your connection information is correct. If you are using Integrated Security you need to check which user is used by BOE to run the report and to add it to your database
