Microsoft Office 2013 types with a delay

Users see a couple of seconds in a delay when typing using office 2013. I tried to edit some registry key to disable DisableAnimations, and DisableHardwareAcceleration. I am going to try to run a repair next. Any other suggestions?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

On an adequate machine (64-bit 4GB minimum), Office works without delay.

For a problem machine, try:

1. Run Disk Cleanup (Admin Tools) and enable most selections to clean up temp files.
2. An Office Repair (Control Panel, Programs and Features, Office, FULL repair).
3. Create a new, test Windows User Profile (Account). Log into the new Windows Account and test Office there.
