I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You MUST install Outlook on the same machine that has Outlook Express and let Outlook find the Outlook Express email. OE died with XP and I don't think Outlook 2010 runs on XP so you will need to get a copy of Outlook 2003 (possibly 2007).

If Outlook 2010 runs on XP, then just install it and it will convert Outlook Express (should anyway).

@intelogent  - If Outlook is there on the XP machine, it should just ask. That is how it always has worked for me in the past. Please let us know.
