Keyboard does not work after P2V - Windows 7
The virtual machine has the issue.
Any ideas?

I'm assuming your mouse is still working, try removing the keyboard in Control Panel -> Devices -> Keyboards - then check whether Windows is 'detecting' and adding a keyboard.
Could you provide a bit more for us to help you with as it's a bit brief!
VMware host version?
physical hardware of the p2v source?
any errors shown?
have you installed VMware tools?
without more info we can only give generic responses:
some people have had issues with specific keyboard drivers/settings

some people just uninstall the old keyboard driver and let it pick up VMwares drivers automatically.
