Balloon Driver in VMware
Is there a step by step procedure to configure balloon driver in VMware?
I needed a guide to explain the "balloon driver" concept and how to reconfigure (after installation of vmware tools) balloon driver and troubleshooting.
Thanks.

Great Links thanks. However, do you know where I can change the vmmemct1 if required.

You do not have to change it.
If you want to remove the memory control driver, you have to select Add/Remove Programs, and select Modify, and select the driver you want to remove.
or, re-install VMware Tools, and create a Custom installation of VMware Tools, and do not select the memory control driver.
BUT, you would always install the balloon driver, unless a vendor tells you not to install.
if you want to disable see here
