Voice distortion on the Cisco IP Phone 7945


Good day

Recently we were encountering issue on the CIsco IP Phone 7945 and having distortion issues when retrieving voice mail and the Ethernet cables have been replaced to check line integrity and we have reset the phone.

Please kindly advise the best solution.

What is the call processing system in use?---  Sorry dont understand the meaning.

-what is the voice mail system in use?-- Sorry dont understand the meaning. I am referring the voice mail on the Cisco ip phone 7945.

- is the distortion present only on this particular 7945? Any ohter phone or model affected? Unfortunately we have one model of Cisco ip phone 7945 which was affected on the Cisco ip phone voice mail.

- what part is exactly distorted? The phone menu or the voice mail message left? or both? or what exactly? The voice mail was distorted and i will attach the voice mail message for your reference.

- where is the voice mail system physically located vs the IP Phone ? do they residein different places interconnected by a router? MPLS network? firewall? VPN? Is controlled by the Cisco UCS server and we are using the MPLS link back to HQ in Melbourne.

- what is the phone firmware version currently?  The current version is " SCCP45.9-3-1SR4-1S*
