Events from my DHCP server shows this...on checking I confirmed that IPV6 is configured
Please enlighten if this is something to be worried about. Should I remove it?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Also the IPv4 is already configured with static IP

I am now inclined to remove as you recommended, but await your advise

The thinking has changed over the years.. the current philosophy is unless you have a compelling reason to remove ipv6 then leave it alone... Windows server more and more these days uses ipv6 over ipv4
Problems using Powershell and Active Directory?

Managing Active Directory does not always have to be complicated.  If you are spending more time trying instead of doing, then it's time to look at something else. For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why

Then why is it giving me that warning David, if I may ask...
David Johnson, CD, MVPOwnerCommented:
either set a static ip address or ignore the warning.
akbCommented:
The warning is because you should only use static IP addresses on a server. You should allocate a static ipv6 address to the server or disable ipv6.
LeoCommented:
@Snowbella Kilangit: depending on your environment, its your call, you can either give IPV6 address or disable ipv6.
