Is there a way to open up Outlook Personal Folders, PST folders, with subfolders already expanded?

I have a user who says in the past he would open his personal folder, it would open up with subfolders expanded.  But, now, the user claims none of the subfolders is expanded.  Is this possible?  if so, is there a way, a setting, to make sure the subfolders are expanded?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
