Downloading all messages from server pre Outlook 2013

Hello Experts,

I have been in a situation frequently where I've needed to export all contents of a user's mailbox to PST.

In cached mode, there is always something on the server that is not quite updated on the locally cached file (ost).  In Outlook 2013, you can simply use the slider to ensure all data has been downloaded.

What similar options are available on pre-Outlook 2013 versions to ensure that when I export to pst, that all the data is actually present.  This would be essential when I'm ready to permanently delete the user's mailbox.

Thanks in advance.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Use New-MailboxExportRequest cmdlet to begin the process of exporting contents of a primary mailbox or archive to a .pst file.
