vsphere ver 6 and vmotion

I have been reading this new features in ver 6.0 and have a questions.
1.  It says that we can motion from one site to another (believe this is two separate datacenter and in log distance) , How the ip address of the server is going to be remain same if the destination site is in another vlan?

2- Can we link two vCentre servers if they are in two separate vlan and in long distance (London-France)?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Yes, providing you have IP communications between the two sites, and the latency is not high. (no different to usual vMotion).

Of course, you will need to ensure, that after you have moved the VM, it has the same networking available to it, e.g. Addresses, vLAN etc
