Reset A2010 ribbon to initial settings

Ok, guys.  I think I shot myself in the foot.  I was playing around with  customizing the ribbon for the A2010 application I'm converting from A2003.  Now I can't reset to the initial settings.  Before, the tabs were: File-Home-Create-External Data -Database Tools.  Now I'm limited to: File-Home-Add Ins.

I've tried going to File-Access Options and Reset All, but it doesn't work.

I didn't realize that these settings follow the app forever!!  Can I undo my settings until I understand the ribbon a little better?

Right-click on a blank spot on the ribbon > Customize the Ribbon > click the Reset drop-down in the bottom right corner > Reset all customizations

I did what you said and it worked.  However, when I closed the app and then A2010 and then reopened A2010 and the app, the limited settings were still there.  It's like the limited ribbon is now associated with the application, so I can't get into VBA and do further conversion work.

Thanks for your help.

Is there code in the app that manipulates the ribbon?

Press Alt-F11 to get into the VBA editor.

One more option: open the problem database > select the File menu > Options > Current Database > scroll down to the Ribbon and Toolbar Options section > make sure both options are checked and the Shortcut Menu Bar says (default)
