I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hey you need to first setup database account to create new data base of mysql in direct admin just follow this link to done all process
http://www.ipserverone.info/control-panel/how-to-create-database-in-directadmin/

Other wise you can also follow these steps to create data base manually
f you are Administrator, you could see the User Level in your right panel, if you are normal user, you could see the MySQL Databases icon there.

Click on MySQL Management, If you are Administrator.
Click Create a Database.
Then you can enter:
    Database Name
    Database Username
    Database Password
