I work in a NOC and receive emails from Solarwinds when nodes go down. Currently, we have to go through these emails manually to find information
If we see that a node has been down longer than 10 minutes we make a ticket. If the node has bounced three times in 1 hour we create a ticket.
Going through these emails, sometimes hundreds, to see what is down and if it went back up and how many times is horribly inefficient.
I am looking for help creating a script or batch or anything really that can make this easier by sorting through my emails.
If there is a way to do this from within Solarwinds some instructions on that would be great too. I could pass them up and hope they implement them.
