downloading web videos

I am running Windows 7.  Sometime ago you recommended that I get Internet Download Manager, which I've been using successfully for about a year.  All of a sudden the program has stopped being able to download some of the same website videos that it  has always been able to download in the past.  I don't get any error message, just the download bar disappears as soon as the ad is over and the content appears.  Is there another program that is more robust that IDM, or is there an IDM setting I'm missing?

Thanks,

Phil

I love to use IDM. You could even use firefox browser and download addon of video grabber or you tube download.
flash video downloader is also good. You could download it directly or you could just copy the link after clicking the addon icon and paste it in IDM (i.e after clicking "Add Url" button in IDM)
