Windows 8.1 and 7 local password Group Policy

Hi,

I am trying to make our laptops more secure and I want that the Users renew their passwords after 90 days. NOTE: This is on local machines. We have a network but is outsourced in the Cloud and we use Citrix.

Only us have control over the local machines. I would like to know which Group Policy (Local Machine) I could use to force users to renew their passwords after 90 days.

Can you advice?

kind regards,
Eduardo.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Local Users and Groups Manager. (lusrmgr.msc)
<username> properties
remove - password never expires

elevated cmd prompt and command for above is:
wmic path Win32_UserAccount WHERE Name='MyUserName' set PasswordExpires=true

with elevated cmd prompt you can set maximum password age with
net accounts /maxpwage:90

You can check config in cmd with:
net accounts
