Crystal Report Help - counting number of new product in fiscal period
Have attached report that I am having issue getting desired number. This report is used in as a sub so cannot put date ranges in the select expert.
Trying to return the following results:
Need to do a d-count on "product ID" and count only when in that fiscal month period.
I currently have the running total setup but and eval based on being in the begin date and end date for that fiscal period but it is not returning any results. I am not sure what the isuses is. If i change and hardcode the date it works so not sure if linking or formula issues with date \ datetime.

I do it all the time.
If you need to limit the subreport to data from a particular date range there are 2 ways to link it to the main report.
1. Use parameters in the subreport. Add a start and end date parameter to the subreport or a single date range parameter. WHen you link use these parameters to link on and not the ones Crystal creates.
2. Use the parameters Crystal creates then edit the Select Expert in the subreport to use >= and <= rather than = on the 2 dates.
