Bypass Item and Continue Loading Web Page

On this page in the right sidebar I load a Teamspeak widget from a 3rd party site. Sometimes the response times are slow from the 3rd party.  When this happens my page is waiting on the response before it loads the page.  Is there any way to continue loading the page?

Here is the code I drop in from the 3rd party.
<div id="ts3viewer_1015772" style="width:; background-color:;overflow-y:scroll;overflow-x:hidden;height:300px;"> </div>

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://static.tsviewer.com/short_expire/js/ts3viewer_loader.js"></script>

<script type="text/javascript">

ts3v_display.init(ts3v_url_1, 1015772, 100);

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Is this in the footer of your site?  If not, try moving the JavaScript to the bottom of the HTML document, so that all the other parts of the site are processed before the browser encounters this.

An alternative might be to ask them for a non-JavaScript API.
