Div Pushing Other Divs Around

I have an audio player that is in the upper right hand corner.  This is good.  However, it is pushing the slider menu bar over...you can see where it stops short (There is a space on the right) and that is the problem.  How do I keep the audio player where it is but have the menu extend all the way over to the right?  Also how do I remove the bottom part of the player?  The useless black box?

Hi DS928,
After messing in the developer tools in Chrome for a bit, I found that if you take off the overflow: hidden; on #home-slider, the bar across the bottom should take up the whole width.
Hope this helps!

Your welcome.  However: I just found a problem and I tried it both ways.  Your solution where the overflow is hidden and mine using absolute position,  I can no longer click on the controls to stop the music!  Solution?
Mikkel SandbergFront End Developer (Contract)Commented:
Ah, ok. Just add z-index: 1; to .sound and that should place it on top of everything else, which should fix your problem of not being able to pause the music.
