I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can use the same policy for multiple tunnels.  You just need to tell the tunnel which policy to use.

Thank you so much for your fast reply. In ASA l2l vpn configuration, command crypto map associates with specific ACL, peer, crypto ipsec, but it looks like crypto isakmp policy is independent there, and its policy number is not associated with any commands. so how does the command crypto isakmp policy associate with tunnel ?
