Excluding remote users accessing Windows 2008 R2 Server Remote Desktop
I have a purchased a Virtual Private Server (with Windows 2008 R2)from my ISP, and don't need anyone accessing it except my range of IP addresses. I am mainly concerned with Remote Desktop.
Can I just go to the Remote Desktop (TCP-In) rule, and Remote Desktop-RemoteFX (TCP-In) rule on the server, and add in a particular IP address range under the Scope > Remote IP Address tab, instead of the "Any IP address" default? Will this then block all access to Remote Desktop, except my IP range?
