Box Sync app filling HDD with log files

I am having an issue with the Box Sync app filling up my Windows 2008 R2 server with log files, is there a way to disable the log files or minimise what they report on so they don't completely fill the HDD and take down the server.

Logs are located in the following path:
C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Box Sync\Logs

I have looked through documentation and forum posts on and haven't found an answer, I have seen allot of people complain about the issue but no responses from support. Does anyone know of  solution or a workaround to stop it spiralling out of control.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I have seen this before and I believe the fix was to abandon Box and use a different product.

Wow, really, I have posted a question with support to see what they come back with I will post their answer here. Naturally I would prefer not to migrate to another product but will do if that is the only way I can address this issue.

Still no reply from, I have given them a long time to reply now so I am changing product. What a terrible bug / design flaw. I would recommend that others not use this product!

It is shocking that they have not made any effort to fix this.
